I saw the comic below and had to laugh out loud! Sometimes we forget that just because the restaurant says “all you can eat,” it doesn’t mean you have to eat until you’re stuffed!

All you can eat buffets can be great. There are a wide range of things to choose from and almost everyone can get just what they want. But, they can also be hazardous to your health. Too often I see people loading their plates up with the least healthy foods available – and way too much of it!

The next time you visit a buffet, try using the “rule of 2” that we discussed in an earlier post (see link at the end of this post). Buffets can also be a place to teach your kids about making healthy choices, and the rule of 2 is a great way to do that.

Eat what you want, but at the same time, don’t eat so much that you’re uncomfortable!
